Domio Pro Transforms Any Helmet into an Audio & Voice Communication System

Following the success of their first product release Domio, Domio Sports launched its crowdfunding campaign for the Domio Pro audio device that mounts to any ski/snow or motorcycling helmet. Domio Pro transforms the helmet into a surround sound audio and voice communication system without the use of wires or earbuds.

Domio Pro mounts to the outside of a helmet and is engineered to transfer sound energy through the helmet shell. Proprietary Vibro-Audio™ technology sends tiny micro-vibration pulses into the shell of the helmet creating a dome of audio on the inside. The innovative design ensures a user’s ears always remain open and unobstructed, so they can ride while remaining aware and safe.

Domio Pro can be used with and transferred to any helmet with its snap-in-snap-out 3M™-backed mounting system, which ensures the unit will stay mounted even in the toughest conditions. As with the original product, Domio connects to any smartphone using Bluetooth technology. It is water-resistant and has an all-day lithium ion battery that is micro-USB chargeable for 24 hours of playtime. The separate microphone utilizes the low energy feature behind Bluetooth’s latest 5.0 standard, and is the world’s first consumer wearable featuring Bluetooth 5.0 for microphone communications. In addition, the wireless microphone uses dual beam-forming and noise cancellation technologies to deliver optimal voice clarity.
