Keen Cat 6 Ultra Lite Socks Review

The Keen Cat 6 Ultra Lite Socks are the second pair of Keen socks I tested and I was just as impressed with these as the first pair. I am now officially hooked on Keen socks.

The left and right fit makes such a difference in how the socks fit and how they feel inside a shoe. No bulk by the little toe, no excess material to smoosh into the right spot. All of the Keen socks feature their Wunderseam around the toe section which is a hidden, flat, smooth seam that you don’t even notice. The inside of the socks have no threads or seams at all which I find rare in even high-end socks.

The Cat ¼ Crew socks are made of 96% Nylon and 4% Spandex. The bit of stretch added support and compression in certain areas like the arches. While there was a bit of arch support, there were also lighter weight panels on the top of the foot to increase breathability.

These socks has very little noticeable cushioning in the toes and heels which allows them to be worn under snugger fitting shoes.

The ¼ height on the Cat socks was pretty tall, coming well over my ankle bone, probably 2-3 inches up my ankle. The height makes them ideal for wearing under hiking boots and for cycling, but still suitable for running and everyday wear.
