Brooks Running Company unveiled its softest running experience in the new Glycerin 17 featuring DNA LOFT. The full-length DNA LOFT midsole delivers a plush experience that adapts to each runner’s individual stride. The Glycerin 17 is on sale online at brooksrunning.com and at retailers worldwide.

“The Glycerin has always been the pinnacle of our Cushion experience, and we’re excited to deliver even more plush comfort for runners in the new Glycerin 17,” said Nikhil Jain, senior manager of footwear product line management. “The super-soft cushioning of the DNA LOFT midsole and the addition of a new, softer sockliner create the softest and smoothest experience in the shoe yet.”

Brooks’ softest cushioning yet, DNA LOFT debuted last year and is featured throughout Brooks’ Cushion experience including in popular styles such as the Ghost 11 and the Adrenaline GTS 19. The proprietary blend of EVA foam, rubber and air provides durable softness without extra weight for a plush, protective ride that adapts to the runner’s unique stride.

“The Glycerin is my first love. Adding to the Glycerin 17’s soft experience underfoot, a new OrthoLite® sockliner provides premium step-in comfort. Over foot, the internal stretch bootie moves and expands to enhance the fit of the double jacquard, engineered mesh upper with 3D Fit Print which delivers breathable, flexible structure. On the outsole, IDEAL Pressure Zones evenly disperse impact away from the body while the Plush Transition Zone allows the foot to move smoothly from heel to toe.
