Under Armour Revenant Running Shoe Review

Under Armour has recently come out with the Revenant running shoe, a great option for those looking for stability while running. The Revenant was up to the task of delivering a very smooth ride, as our testers were mostly on sidewalks and streets in urban Atlanta. The Revenant gets very high marks for superior cushioning and being lightweight. To wit, for a “stability” shoe, we were happy with the padding especially from the midsole forward, an area that we’ve found is sacrificed with other products in order to shave weight to compromise for the extra support. We also liked the way the Revenant seems to slide onto your foot, yet still feels very snug even when lightly laced. Our one quibble is that we would prefer a bit more arch support, even though this is a shoe designed to combat (over)pronation. However, for full disclosure, our testers feet had much larger arches than the target customer for this shoe. Overall, the Revenant delivers you a smooth feel and look – an impressive debut for Under Armour as they grow into the market.
