In the market for a lightweight training shoe? We’ve found the Brooks Ghost 2 to be an excellent neutral lightweight trainer that weighs in at a mere 10.8 ounces. We tested the shoe on track workouts, longer distance speed workouts, such as mile repeats and tempo runs, and the long distance runs. As imagined and what Brooks geared the shoe for, testers found that the it was best suited for shorter runs, including races and speed workouts. Testers also noted that the upper gave testers a nice hugging fit to their foot. The midsole on the Brooks Ghost 2 is made of the eco friendly Brooks BioMogo which decomposes in 20 years vs. up to 1000 years in the standard shoe.
