Saucony Elite Split Short Review

The Saucony Elite Split Short, much like the Elite Singlet, is an ultra-light running clothing option. The Elite Split Short is composed of a micro denier fabric that is super soft and lightweight, making it a perfect fabric for running shorts. The Elite Split Short have a relaxed fit, which when combined with the flat-front waistband and mesh side panels, provide an incredibly comfortable piece that stays put while running and offers complete range of motion. The shorts have a 3” inseam and split short design, however our testers felt their rear remained covered while on the go. The shorts have an interior stash pocket and a back zip pocket for added storage. We liked the super soft inner liner of the shorts, which is made from recycled fabrics, an added plus. The Elite Split Short will be a go to piece for summer running. For more information on the Elite Split Short and other Saucony products, please visit www.saucony.com or www.amazon.com/saucony.

Shannon

Shannon, our fabulous female tester, takes gear testing to a new level for women. When not at work or school, she is most likely training for a marathon, climbing one of Colorado’s tallest peaks, riding her road bike, or skiing down a mountain slope. Like many women, Shannon gets cold easily, therefore, we try to test the best all weather gear to help her stay warm and dry during all day outdoor pursuits. In the warmer months, Shannon enjoys exploring the Colorado backcountry with her friends and dogs and attempts to escape for as many trail runs as her schedule allows. Shannon is a great women’s tester because she gives readers true insight into how a product may perform for an active woman.
