State Bicycle Co. Masterminds Mashup of Yeezy Boost 350s and DZR Minnas
Let’s face it, cycling shoes are boring, uncomfortable, and lack a certain – “Hypebeast” panache. That’s why State Bicycle Co. copped one of the most sought-after sneakers, the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 and decided to make them truly unique using a pair of DZR Minna’s as “donor” shoes and the expert help of Jake Danklefs of https://www.dankandco.com. You can check out the full conversion process on State Bicycle Co.’s blog.
The YEEZY BOOST 350 features an upper composed of re-engineered Primeknit. The post-dyed monofilament side stripe is woven into the upper. Reflective threads are woven into the laces. The midsole utilizes adidas’ innovative BOOST™ technology. The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 brings together vivid pops of color with a patterned design. Rope laces secure the breathable Primeknit upper, rendered in a dark grey finish with wavy black lines and contrasting orange speckles. On the lateral side, a matching orange stripe displays ‘SPLY-350’ branding. Responsive cushioning is provided by a full-length Boost midsole, housed within a ribbed TPU cage and supported underfoot by a durable rubber outsole.
