10 Barrel Brewing Co. Canned Cocktails
10 Barrel Brewing Co. recently released their line of 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Canned Cocktails, and if you’re a fan of pre-made mixed drinks that are ready to go at a moment’s notice, read on…
10 Barrel Brewing Co. is based out of Oregon with their main brewery in Bend and 3 pubs in the Bend/Portland area. They also have a pub in Boise, Idaho in case you’re ever up that way as well.
If you’re not familiar with 10 Barrel, check out their website and it’ll become immediately evident that these folks have a passion for beer AND the outdoors (not to mention that their website is just super cool.) That unique recipe comes through in many of the names of their beers and cocktails, (i.e. Golf Tea, Camp Vibes, Nature Calls, etc.). It also shines through in much of the imagery they use in their marketing.
So…it makes sense that 10 Barrel would get around to producing their version of some pre-made canned cocktails that work brilliantly at a campsite, on a mountain bike trip, après ski, fly fishing, or any other outdoor endeavor that would call for a tasty beverage without the need to bring along your entire home bar.
10 Barrel’s can graphics are little works of art as well. But if you’re not into showing off your boozy ways, pour these bad boys in an insulated bottle and be on your way, incognito.
They sent us samples of three of their 10 Barrel Brewing Co. Canned Cocktails in the Golf Tea, Disco Lemonade, and AMF varieties. I can confidently say that this was a fun review. ;)

Golf Tea was my favorite
10 Barrel Brewing Co. Canned Cocktails – Golf Tea
Taste-o-meter Score (10 out of 10)
Although it was a close call, I think Golf Tea was my favorite. As you can likely guess, this is 10 Barrel’s version of a spiked Arnold Palmer. With a mix of their house-made lemonade, black tea, and of course, vodka, Golf Tea hits just right.
My palate tends to shy away from overly sweet mixed drinks. I’ve tried quite a few brands over the years and many of them just come across as more of an alcohol-laced soda. WAY. TOO. SWEET. That’s not the case with Golf Tea. Sure, it has a sweetness to it, but it’s in line with the rest of the flavors and doesn’t feel like it was made by Willy Wonka himself.
The tea comes through nicely and helps balance the sweetness of the lemonade without being too earthy. Good stuff.
And with an ABV of 10% these hit just right for the 19th hole or a sip next to the pool with friends.

Disco Lemonade was a close runner-up
10 Barrel Brewing Co. Canned Cocktails – Disco Lemonade
Taste-o-meter Score (9 out of 10)
Golf Tea was my go-to, but Disco Lemonade came in a very close second. Think of Disco Lemonade as a boozy take on fruit punch with flavors of both lemonade and huckleberry coming through strong. It vaguely reminds me of Berry Limeade Hawaiian Punch from the ’80s (yes, I’m dating myself), but with more of a lemon-y slant than a lime-y one. And of course, the vodka takes it to another level.
Sweeter than Golf Tea, but not by much, 10 Barrel Brewing Co.’s Disco Lemonade would feel at home getting lit while running through a sprinkler in the summer or taking the edge off of the soreness after a long trail run.

And with an ABV of 13.9% Disco Lemonade will definitely help you get the dance party started.

AMF will definitely get the party started
10 Barrel Brewing Co. Canned Cocktails – AMF
Taste-o-meter Score (9 out of 10)
10 Barrel Brewing Co.’s AMF hits right from the first taste. If you’re familiar with AMF, (Adios, Motherfu**er), then you know what you’re in for. Think of AMF as a more refined version of Long Island Iced Tea. Instead of triple sec and cola, AMF subs in blue curaçao and a citrus-y soda. And much like LIIT, AMF is a melting pot of liquor. With vodka, rum, gin, and tequila on tap along with the aforementioned blue curaçao, you know you’re in for a ride. It even has that slightly blue color to it…or maybe that was just the daze I was in.
AMF was the sweetest of the 3 samples 10 Barrel sent along, but that’s to be expected as it’s an homage to the aforementioned drink similar to a LIIT.
AMF would be a go-to for a roller coaster ride of a day at the beach, sitting around a campfire doing my best Jim Carrey impression, or sharing tales of grandeur after a white water rafting trip.

With an ABV of 13.9% AMF will NOT disappoint.

Disco Lemonade hits just right
